As some of you may already know,
Lucinda Dangerfield from Space Centre Self Storage is an avid cyclist and has
taken part in several cycling events. She’s also great advocate for cycling and
has met many different people in the process. Not to mention creating awareness
and raising funds for numerous charities.
For some time now, Space Centre Self
Storage has been heavily involved in the world of cycling. Not only do they
take part themselves riding for charity, they’ve also sponsored various teams over
the years. This year Space Centre Self Storage is sponsoring Veloce Cycling.
As 2019 gets underway, Christmas is
already a distant memory with all the focus on the year ahead. Perhaps you’ve
just had a declutter and realised there are several unwanted Christmas gifts
lying around. While some presents may seem useful, let’s face it, you’re not

you have just cleared out, why not put them to good use?

unwanted Christmas gifts to a good charity that will find a use for them.
Homeless shelters are always looking for hats, gloves and toiletries while food
banks eagerly await food items and also toiletries. There are also many other charitable organisations that
provide things for people who are struggling.
Did you know that three out of five people receive unwanted Christmas gifts? With that in mind, please consider less fortunate people before you simply throw anything away.

While the events are always a lot of fun, this year proved more challenging mainly because of bad weather. We take a closer look at the Prudential Ride London and how the event unfolded. Lucinda also shares some valuable cycling tips for those interested in starting out.
Over the last few years, the dedicated Space Centre Self Storage team has taken part in a number of events. While cycling for charity was the main reason for many, this year Lucinda Dangerfield is doing it as a personal challenge. July sees two main cycling events and a fantastic opportunity for you to give something back.
Lucinda has been training extremely hard and although she feels more prepared than last year, it’s still a big challenge. Apart from raising funds or awareness for various charities, her aim is to Continue reading →
We’re no strangers to a challenge here at Space Centre Self Storage! Directors Mark & Lucinda Dangerfield, along with staff and family, have run, cycled and rowed for various charitable organisations over the years and this year we’re adding swimming to the list.
In September Lucinda, along with her two sons Will and Louis, will be completing the Swim Serpentine event in Hyde Park London. Now in its third year, Swim Serpentine is held in and around the beautiful Serpentine lake in Hyde Park which is where the open water swimming competition was held at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The festival is organised by London Marathon events. Continue reading →
